Any activity involving off road travel in a 4WD vehicle carries a degree of risk, both to the vehicle and occupants. We make every effort to ensure the safety of both the vehicle and occupants, but do not accept any responsibility for damage or personal injury.
Every driver and passenger over the age of 16 is required to sign a disclaimer form prior to travel on any club trip. The ultimate responsibility for vehicle and personal safety remains with the driver of each vehicle.
All vehicles being used on a group trip will be inspected to ensure the basic safety requirements of the group are met. These requirements are listed on this page and are the standard set by the NZFWDA.
We are happy to provide any advice or assistance to new members wishing to set their vehicle up to meet the requirements.
Recovery rope is available through the group.
